INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY LABORATORY

          It is the endeavor of  IRIEEN to develop a strong information technology support. A well equipped laboratory with Pentium IV, Pentium III based PC’s connected on Local area network of UTP CAT 5 cable system and with over head projection facility through multi-media projector is used for training and software work. IRIEEN is also connected to the wide area network of Indian railways i.e RAILNET. Internet connection is available at the institute, which is extensively utilized by the faculty members and trainee officers. A good amount of information regarding various training schedules and the course contents of various subjects has been incorporated in the website.

            Apart from regular computer curriculum, specialized courses are also being organized in the IT lab, time to time, with the help of outside reputed training institutes so as to keep pace with the fast technology changes in the information technology field.
